Implant Dentistry

Dental implants are an amazing approach to replacing missing teeth – no matter how many there are! Each implant is made of a titanium root, abutment, and fixed prosthesis. The titanium root is biocompatible and encourages new bone formation around it, strengthening the jaw as well as supporting the prosthesis. In fact, implants are so strong that they’re even stronger than your real teeth.

Who is a Candidate for Implants?

Before having implants placed, an exam and x-rays will be needed to determine whether or not there is enough healthy bone to support them. Some people require bone grafting to encourage new bone growth prior to the implant placement. Our team works with an implant specialist for the placement portion of the implant roots and provides the restorative services afterward.

Implant-Supported Crowns

Our implant crowns are designed to reflect the appearance of an individual, healthy tooth. They are made of porcelain and color-matched with your other teeth. Implant crowns last for several years and can withstand the function of a normal tooth.

Implant-Supported Bridges

With an implant bridge, as many as 3 or 4 teeth can be replaced using just a single restoration, because each end of the bridge is supported by an implant. Traditional bridges use teeth for support, but an implant bridge spans across a much wider space.

All-on-4 Implant-Supported Dentures

These low-profile, minimalist dentures give you an entirely new smile all at once, while creating more space in your mouth than with traditional, acrylic dentures. For instance, the upper denture is U-shaped, so it frees the roof of your mouth for easier speech and eating. Most dentures can be mounted on as few as 4 implant roots. What makes these dentures even better? They stay in place permanently! Never worry about an ill-fitting, rocking denture ever again.
